Audu Maikori appreciates Nigerians, Starts a #FreeNigeria Campaign

Audu Maikori was on Saturday released on bail from prison custody after he was arrested because of the tweets he made about Southern Kaduna killings.

A lot of Nigerians displayed unity in a form or the other with the #FreeAudu online campaign. After the Chocolate city boss was released, he went online to thank Nigerians for their immense support.

"Yesterday I was released on bail due to the immense support & voice of all the great people in Nigeria. I do not take your support lightly. Even though my agitations were for #SouthernKaduna , the whole of Nigeria spoke with one voice & showed that we aren't as divided as they say. He tweeted.

"The agitations are about a #FreeNigeria, freedom of speech & upholding democracy. It's not about religion, ethnicity or politics. God bless."
