Yesterday, the Uyo Facebook community went wild because of speculations by unknown sources that the owner of the popular Eka Udo restaurant located in Uyo uses water used in bathing corpses to
cook food for her customers.
Some people had hurriedly concluded that the rumours were true without confirming it.

Customers said her story is that of sheer hardwork, commitment and consistency.
Meanwhile, most of her customers who doubted the veracity of the rumours took the pains of going to find out how it all started and the truth behind the matter.
Mfonobong Ukpong said, "When I arrived, I met two of her staff, a boy and a girl who were seen cleaning the place , told me that they had close for the year, and that the restaurant will reopen on Monday 9th of January, 2017.They dismissed the confession rumour peddled in some quarters against their mistress as lies. The staff said “We have not heard such. That is not true. We have closed for the year. We went on break on the evening 23rd of December after selling: we are resuming on the 9th of January next year, 2017”.
Some people still say there's an iota of truth in the matter.
